We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer based in Miami, Florida with the possibility of going permanent. The selected candidate will be responsible for various legal tasks such as managing large-scale discovery, drafting legal filings, attending depositions, and collaborating with the legal team on litigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Handle client intake and maintain ongoing communication with clients

• Manage large-scale discovery and document review processes

• Draft legal filings, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Attend depositions, hearings, informal dispute resolution, and pre-trial conferences

• Conduct pre-motion, Zoom, and telephonic conferences

• Review and analyze document productions

• Collaborate with the legal team to form litigation strategies

• Communicate professionally with co-counsel and opposing counsel

• Handle complaint handling and arbitration processes

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to depositions and motions.

Job Requirements

• Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing
• Minimum of two years of experience as an attorney or lawyer
• Demonstrated proficiency in complaint handling and client intake
• Previous experience with discovery, litigation, and arbitration
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Experience drafting legal documents, pleadings, and motions
• Proven ability to summarize depositions
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
