The Sales Operations Manager for the service provider segment is the operational partner for the sales channel team. You’ll work with the sales director, sales managers, and account executives on deal support, metrics, and strategic planning. You will lead projects that partner with multiple areas of the business—such as legal, finance, and revenue operations—being a subject matter expert for channel sales and measurements. Your will report on sales metrics and make meaningful recommendations that advance the priorities and efficiency of the team. You will report to theSenior Manager of Sales Operations.
Your Role in Action
Create important strategic analyses that provide value-added insights of sales trends, especially revenue growth and renewal forecasting in channel sales. Support the service provider segment in Indicator tracking and quarterly business reviews
Partner with sales leaders on the annual planning process for the service provider team, especially for territory assignments, staffing analysis, goal-setting, and quota creation
Provide deal architecture support to the service provider team to model pricing, commercial options, and advise on custom quotes, with specific attention to impact on company goals like ARR and revenue growth
Participate in sales incentive plan design for service provider reps and managers, including analysis of existing design plan efficacy, and planning for annual design and policy changes. Maintain documentation and tracking of compensation policies
Partner with other sales teams—such as commercial partnerships and direct selling teams—to understand partner and co-selling programs and measure efficacy and return on investment
Lead business-critical operational projects that partner, collaborate, and strategize with teams inside and outside of go-to-market teams
7+ years of supporting a customer-facing organization; high-growth SaaS company a plus
3+ years of experience supporting channel sales teams
Strong analytical background, working with large sets of data
Experience with deal modeling and ARR/revenue measurement
Project management skills and ability to manage simultaneous work streams across multiple teams
Work with all levels of the organization and across a variety of cultures
Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
