Currently, we are seeking a Product Owner to join our expanding team.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a team of brilliant engineers who embrace a collaborative approach and embrace “outside the box” thinking to solve complex challenges.

 In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the quality of the work requests of the development teams are precise and concise so as to maximize the usefulness of their work time.
  • Create requirements that prioritize and deliver necessary enhancements to ensure quality and efficiency of product delivery.
  • Manage feature iteration to drive successful trade-offs that affect cost, schedule, users, and how well the component works throughout the life cycle.
  • Provide clear, concise and actionable instruction to the development team, enabling them to deliver the release on time.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure maximum support of Nuix's product strategy.
  • Provide team’s workflow tasks including product feature backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
  • Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Participate in product release planning.
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release goals.
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
  • Maintain a pulse on the current market, competition and customer/user requirements.
  • Keep abreast with Agile best practices and new trends.
  • Manage to the roadmap deadlines, strategic objectives, and development requirements.
  • Participate in user-experience research to identify obstacles, improve ease-of-use and customer satisfaction.
  • Document user stories and acceptance criteria for new and existing platform functionality.
  • Gather developer and other stakeholder feedback to validate that the component works against stated metrics.

 Required:

  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • 3+ years of experience in eDiscovery
  • Experience in a product owner, engineering or technology strategy role
  • Consulting skills to manage requirements gathering with subject matter experts, customers, partners and industry analysts
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment; desire to roll up your sleeves and balance strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high quality output
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success acting as a positive company ambassador
