Manager, eDiscovery Hosting


Position Summary

The Manager, Hosting is responsible for leading a team of and managing the body of non-client facing queue work in Relativity and related tools to ensure client objectives are met.  This role coordinating support for PMs and Focus teams, providing guidance and training to the Hosting team, and handling technical escalations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Client Services and Review Solutions leaders in management of Hosting related workflows.
  • Assist in budgeting process.
  • Attain team utilization targets.
  • Partner with HR on recruiting, interviewing, selection, hiring and onboarding of employees.
  • Monitor Review Solutions projects to establish priorities and ensure all client objectives are met.
  • Maintain technical proficiency on Review Solutions platforms.
  • Serve as primary Review Solutions resource for queue management.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with Client Services and other teams in Service Delivery.
  • Assist in ongoing assessment of revenue and service metrics.
  • Drive best practices within Review Solutions department.
  • Perform Review Solutions Project Manager tasks as client deadlines and business need dictate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Management duties include supervision of exempt and/or non-exempt staff. This includes but is not limited to, conducting performance evaluations and improvement plans, approving paid time-off (PTO), assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, taking disciplinary action, and interviewing candidates for open positions.

  • Excellent eDiscovery subject-matter communication skills and exceptional customer service demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of eDiscovery technology, including key applications such as Relativity.

  • Minimum 4-year degree required, JD preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ eDiscovery industry experience with strong knowledge of legal discovery concepts and processes.
  • Experience supporting, conducting or managing document review.
  • Experience with monitoring and analyzing productivity, utilization and financial metrics preferred.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
