Job Description

The IQ Business Group (IQBG) is currently recruiting for an eDiscovery Support Analyst in Washington, DC. The eDiscovery Support Analyst works with eDiscovery applications in order to discover, convert, and export documents from the collected data source to deliver to the client for review. The primary responsibility of the team is to discovery, extract/process, filter, and export documents from collected sources thereby reducing costs and accelerating discovery readiness.

This is an entry-level, multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate the ability to interact closely with our clients’ senior business and technology managers. This position is aimed at someone who has strong business support, business analysis, data analysis and eDiscovery experience. The person taking on this role will be a self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary duties consist of helping to identify, collect, produce and manage electronically stored information (ESI) utilizing content management systems and M365 for processing eDiscovery requests. 
  • Responsible for culling the processed data using reduction strategies such as de-duplication, searching, date range filtering, document type filtering as requested.
  • Responsible for searching, collecting, documenting, converting, and performing quality control on collected and exported documents.
  • Perform complex database search queries in various databases and repositories using search filters and or LQL (Logical Query Language) and Boolean operators for complex governmental litigation, administrative records, investigations, etc.  
  • Perform in-depth QC of all work performed, adhering to our checklist formats and service levels for quality.
  • Assists in the training of staff in the use of E-Discovery systems and assists with technical questions regarding those systems and/or department policies and procedures.
  • Other duties include drafting or updating Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Will occasionally develop training materials to include guides, presentations, and deliver end user training or webinars.



  • Working onsite in DC office at least 3 days per week.
  • Ability to obtain a government Public Trust is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
  • Previous experience in a legal and electronic discovery environment is preferred but not required. 
  • Must have strong technical, software/application and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, organization skills, attention to detail and technical aptitude
  • Requires excellent writing skills and excellent oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
