About the Job
Levi Struss & Com is looking for an experienced eDiscovery Manager & Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. As the eDiscovery Manager & Litigation Paralegal, you will support the Litigation, Compliance and Employment teams in defending litigation matters, managing eDiscovery, and case file management from commencement through settlement or trial.
- Manage LS&Co.’s eDiscovery Program in Collaboration with the Information Security Team:
- Working closely with Information Security and IT Teams to execute on the collection and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) across a diverse portfolio of data sources;
- Assistance with investigations and early case assessment using a variety of forensic tools;
- Consultation and coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers to drive process efficiencies and overall defensibility of our eDiscovery process;
- Project management and evidence logging;
- Training case team members on LS&Co.’s eDiscovery tools;
- Provide general litigation support, including:
- Support internal and external counsel through all stages of claims and disputes;
- Draft basic litigation documents and templates, including, legal holds, discovery responses, subpoena responses, and litigation disclosure statements;
- Assist with research and fact investigation as requested;
- Coordinate with internal and external partners on document retention, collection and review, confidentiality and privilege analyses, and other information management;
- Matter management including calendaring and docketing of case deadlines, coordination of schedules and work streams;
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior management
- Oversee invoice and billing management for litigation matters
About You
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a law firm, eDiscovery vendor, managed service provider and/or in-house.
- Experience with e-Discovery processes, forensic data collections and evidence handling.
- Proficient computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Excel, Time Matters, ediscovery software, and various case management tools.
- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent or Paralegal certification.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $96,600 to $146,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
