KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking a Digital Analyst. This role manages incoming eDiscovery processing requests for data as it relates to pending/potential litigation, investigations, and various other types of matters.
The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are adequately handled, tracked, and responded to in an efficient and accurate manner. This position requires a wide array of technical competencies as it relates from moderate computer use through advanced level of computer repair and scripting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that processing requirements are met as determined by both the customer, project manager(s), and operations management
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects with similar deadlines
- Primary support for eDiscovery processing and Project Management departments
- Evidence handling, duplications, and Chain of Custody procedures
- Data culling & collections
- Involving data repair/manipulations/conversions
- Process data requests, consistently update and track request tasks using proprietary and COTS software
- Business problem-solving skills and judgment necessary to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve issues and provide proposed solutions
- In-house collection work involving various types of data, encryptions, devices; ability for field work available
- Coordinate efforts between various internal business units to complete data processing requirements
- Assist in developing, documenting, and refining necessary procedures to accomplish discovery process requirements.
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
- All duties as assigned
- Advancement opportunities involve transitioning to eDiscovery or Forensic Analyst teams
- Internal and External (position relevant certification) training available
Qualifications
- Must be self-motivated, yet must be able to work in a team
- Creative problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A keen level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work flexible shifts (when needed)
- Proficient in the use of Text Editor Applications, MS Excel and like Office productivity applications
- Must be experienced with designing and maintaining spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and Mac operating systems
- Demonstrated ability to provide customer service and support to internal and external contacts
Preferred Qualifications
- Various Forensic Analysis Application experience (EnCase, FTK, WinHEX, NUIX, Stellar, Paraben, Cellebrite, etc.)
- General understanding of (Robo/Rich) copy tools, BAT (PowerShell) scripting, and Active Directory
- Some experience with scripting, programming/coding, database languages (SQL, VB, HTML, Access)
- Experience trouble shooting applications and communicating results to support teams
- Experience in the litigation support industry vendor/law firm
