Business Development Assistant (Remote)

KLDiscovery, a dynamic global provider of electronic discovery, Cyber Incident Response Data Mining, information governance and data recovery services, is seeking a Business Development Assistant to provide administrative and client development support for the Vice President, Cyber Incident Response and Legal Technologies, and other members of the Sales team. 

This role will operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where attention to detail and seamless execution are paramount. Resourcefulness, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges will position a candidate for success. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with law firms, corporate legal departments, or an eDiscovery service provider. The ability to communicate effectively and confidently with C-level executives and high-profile clients is essential along with the ability to work flexible hours as needed.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to senior Sales executive in support of client relationship management, new business development initiatives, and market research
  • Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Coordinate the creation of proposal and pricing estimates, service agreements, and statements of work
  • Coordinate client response and escalations among business development executives, project management team, legal team, and other internal resources, as necessary
  • Track expenses and create expense reports in an online reporting tool
  • Organize meetings including coordination across teams and aligning calendars 
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer service and support to internal and external contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Prior experience learning new tools and processes quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple competing items and remain organized
  • Friendly disposition and willing to go above and beyond to support internal and external clients
  • Available to work flexible hours, including outside standard office hours

Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 and bonus eligibility.
