Job Description:
The Firmwide Benefits – Administrative Assistant -will work onsite 5 days a week in our clients Nashville office supporting the Director of Firmwide Benefits and team with managing employee benefits programs and other employee perks. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and has a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Administration Duties:
- Various administrative tasks such as mail, scanning, electronic filing.
- Entering invoices into Chrome River
- Managing the Pillsbury Benefits inbox
- Assisting with Audits
- Entering retiree payments and preparing checks for finance
- Prepare weekly meeting agenda and meeting minutes
- Coordinate bi-annual Medicare workshops amongst all Firmwide offices
- Manage distribution of new hire email and departure letters
- Create and distribute monthly Benefit Newsletter
- Process benefits enrollment, changes, ensuring timely and accurate updates to employee records in NetDocs & Workday
- Assist with leaves of absence tracking and monitoring
- Assist with processing of vendors bills
- Support benefits open enrollment activities and other related events
- Perform other Benefit/HR related tasks and projects assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Knowledge or experience with claims administration and insurance
- Excellent organization skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of Benefit terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in an administrative role or customer service is a plus
Work Schedule
Core office hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. This role will require someone to be present in the office Monday to Friday.
The Compensation range for this role is 23.25 to 27.07 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s location, skills, experience and qualifications.
