About the Division

Our Forensic team sits with the Financial Advisory Africa team. The value that Deloitte Forensic Africa creates for organisations is synonymous with operational excellence. Our business areas work in unison to provide integrated solutions unique to the organisational requirements of any business.

Deloitte Forensic professionals are a diverse group with a wide and varied range of proficiencies, comprising forensic accountants, legal and law enforcement specialists, and business intelligence experts, all utilising state-of-the-art forensic technology.

Job Description

As a Forensic Technology senior consultant, you are the eDiscovery expert on a project, and you have the responsibility to explain and supervise the tasks and activities of our analysts. From collections to productions, you are involved in every phase of the EDRM model. You also advise stakeholders on both best practices and the work to be carried out. In addition, together with our managers and directors, you are the main driving force in our Forensic Technology assignments, and you play an active role in the Forensic Technology team.

Qualifications

  • Completed a relevant higher vocational or university degree in IT / computer science, law or experience in the field of IT or data analysis / science;
  • A least 5 years of practical experience in eDiscovery or Digital Forensics;
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, EDRM model and digital forensic tools;
  • Experience with forensic imaging, data recovery, and analysis;
  • Proficiency in using forensic software, such as EnCase, FTK, Oxygen or MobilEdit;
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to digital evidence;
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively;
  • You can manage multiple projects in Relativity, and you are in close contact with the reviewers;
  • You are familiar with assisted review, active learning, clustering and other ediscovery analysis tools;
  • You are willing to travel; and
  • Certifications such as EnCE, ACE, RCA or GCFA are a plus
