The Junior Operations Consultant is responsible for learning, mastering and ultimately helping to manage the eDiscovery process from data intake to data production. The Junior Consultant is responsible for understanding and completing training and for performing tasks spanning the Electronic Discovery Reference Model including tracking, processing, coordination and reporting of data. The Junior Consultant will liaise with Project Mangers throughout the project lifecycle and must be able to effectively communicate. The Junior Consultant will work within a team and must be able to coordinate, cooperate and collaborate with senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Understands the other business segments within the Technology group.
- Strives to be punctual and attentive during team meetings and, when appropriate, actively contributes to team discussions on relevant topics.
- Collaborates and cooperates with other team members to promote efficiency and interaction
- Understands the EDRM and is able to perform data processing, imports and productions with assistance or guidance from others when appropriate.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers and members of other CR teams.
- Follows standard operating procedures and best practices for record keeping, ticket maintenance, data management, data import and data export. Complies with scheduling, reporting and productivity expectations.
- Troubleshoots and investigates discrepancies and errors and with guidance from more senior team members, identifies custom solutions to handle exception files or other problematic data
- Ability to analyze data and understand data migration throughout the various stages of eDiscovery.
- A basic understanding of computer forensics, eDiscovery, and litigation support and the tools employed in these areas.
- Ability to solve problems given available resources and tools, with appropriate guidance from senior team members.
