The Office of General Counsel is responsible for advising on all legal matters focusing on balancing ICF’s business objectives with legal requirements, and minimizing legal risk, costs, and litigation exposure. 

 

The role of the Ethics and Compliance Associate is an internally facing professional that will be required to work under moderate supervision to: (1) support continuing development of established policies, procedures, and applicable law; (2) support activities related to the implementation and operation of the Ethics & Compliance Program; (3) support the various litigation and compliance-related functions and activities of ICF; and (4) support processes to track, report, and manage litigation, potential litigation, and other claim-related matters.

 

ICF is looking for a smart, enthusiastic individual who is quick to learn and is interested in pursuing a career in law, compliance, or audit.  Relevant training and development will be provided for the ideal candidate. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support compliance with ethics and compliance (E&C) related laws, regulations, and professional standards 
  • Reviewing and responding to E&C questions, including reports in ICF’s hotline platform 
  • Assisting with internal compliance investigations, as needed 
  • Supporting drafting of E&C program documentation, e.g., policies, processes & procedures, training materials, and metrics 
  • Managing the E&C team’s Intranet presence along with other communications channels, such as Viva Engage (Yammer) 
  • Collaborating widely with immediate and wider team members, with the goal of seeking new project involvements and experience 
  • Interacting with functional peers within the immediate organization, as well as clients or vendors; sometimes with guidance from others 
  • Creating written reports and dashboards for monitoring compliance and communicating status with business leaders and stakeholders 
  • Supporting the tracking of and reporting on litigation, potential litigation, and other claim-related matters 
  • Assisting in ICF’s response to third-party process, for example, subpoena or employment records requests 
  • Supporting ICF’s eDiscovery-related policies, processes, and activities 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university  
  • 0-3+ years’ experience, preferably in compliance, legal, employee relations, human resources, or internal audit 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent organization and strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team, to multi-task, and to work independently 
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office365 and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies deployed by the department and across the company

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$71,958.00 – $122,328.00
