The Discovery Services solution in Forensics is a Managed Service operation running 24/7 with both internally facing operational roles and client facing consulting roles. This team is responsible for providing remote collections, evidence management, data processing, review support, and production services in support of investigations and litigation. This portfolio includes several high-profile matters and flagship clients.

 

This position could be located in Dallas – TX (primary), IL, DC, NY, NJ.

 

The opportunity

This Manager level position will collaborate directly with the engagement teams and provide strategic direction, management and oversight of the eDiscovery operations team to ensure that all e-discovery operational tasks and goals are met.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for oversight of fifteen to twenty onshore discovery professionals, as well as coordination with offshore discovery professionals, tasked with execution of tasks across the EDRM. 
  • Responsible for queue management and timely completion of discovery requests.
  • Responsible for coordination with engagement teams re: process, special needs, and requests.
  • Responsible for coordinating training on new/custom workflows, as well as complex troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for quality and oversight of the various operational functions to ensure compliance with EY standards and industry best practices
  • Responsible for oversight of metrics, KPI, and other tools/processes that are leveraged to measure the team’s overall success and goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and triage issues as they arise
  • Experience in working with client facing teams to deliver upon e-discovery operational services (i.e. remote document collections through production) and support engagement teams’ endeavors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and properly delegate work load through a large and diverse team

 

Skills and attributes for success
 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • Minimum 6 years’ e discovery experience
  • Strong experience with the following suite of e-discovery tools: NUIX, LAW, Relativity, eCapture, Encase
  • Experience managing large and geographically diverse team of e-discovery professionals
  • Strong project management skills to properly balance multiple projects and competing priorities and project deadlines, and strong written and oral communication skills needed to work with engagement teams
  • Solid attention to detail to help manage and oversee quality of the services provided by the e-discovery operations team

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science is preferred

The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $79,100 to $171,100.
