Job Title: Senior Consultant – eDiscovery
Location: APAC, remote

Epiq’s Senior Consultants provide project management and consultation on Technology Assisted Review and eDiscovery projects for corporations and law firms. The Senior Consultant must have a deep understanding of eDiscovery and a high level of proficiency with Epiq’s solutions including Relativity, Brainspace, and Reveal AI. They must be able to effectively maintain a caseload including multiple active projects and must excel at consulting on methods used to increase efficiencies, drive down costs, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Remotely oversee and manage projects using platforms including Relativity, Brainspace, and Reveal AI.
Serve as primary point of contact for clients during projects.
Conduct project design meetings and consult with clients on the development and implementation of efficient and effective workflows, how to advantage of those solutions, and how to measure success.
Develop estimates to show projected reductions in document review volume, costs, and project duration using advanced technology tools, processes, and workflows. Determine and manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timeframes.
Draft workflow protocols, methodologies, and substantive training guidelines in partnership with the Epiq case team, the client, and counsel.
Design and implement workflows within Epiq’s various platforms including the creation of coding layouts, complex searches, and dashboards.
Leverage advanced technologies and methods to improve the productivity and accuracy of document reviews, including the use of email threading, near duplicate identification, clustering, categorisation, and predictive analytics methodologies including Continuous and Standard Active Learning.
Execute quality control and quality assurance best practices, including the use of statistical sampling and advanced searching.
Search term development including iterative revision, validation and analysis including sampling and regression testing.
Support business development activities through demonstrations of Epiq’s Technology platforms client training, client presentations, and CLE sessions.
Build Epiq’s brand by delivering thought leadership including white papers, conference presentations, webinars.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Legal qualification and practice in at least one jurisdiction preferred.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in an eDiscovery capacity at a solution provider or law firm is required.
Experience working with International clients including those based in the US, APAC and the EMEA is good to have.
Deep understanding of concepts, principles, management, processing, review, analysis, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to eDiscovery projects.
Experience required with Relativity, Brainspace, Reveal AI and other analytics-driven applications and methods.
Experience required with concepts and application of statistical sampling, email threading, near duplicate identification, clustering, and predictive coding (continuous and standard active learning, simple passive learning).
Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and the use of formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering, and manipulation.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience leading conference calls and meetings with colleagues and clients.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Ability to use critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to effectively identify solutions to nonstandard requests and issue resolution especially related to utilizing Excel or experience working with data.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
