eDiscovery Technical Lead

The eDiscovery Technical Lead will report to the Executive Director of Legal Technology and Services. The qualified candidate will have eDiscovery case management and operational experience. The Technical Lead will manage the operations and communications of current and future eDiscovery cases. The Technical Lead will collect, process, and review data for eDiscovery cases. The Technical Lead will provide technical support to reviewers.  In addition, will assist with managing and implementing eDiscovery and Investigative initiatives and programs as well as helping with the team’s other workloads.


– Perform case management for eDiscovery and other related cases including coordinating operational tasks

– Perform operational tasks including; creating forensic collections, processing evidence, review workspace setup

– Perform case communication with legal point of contacts

– Provide technical knowledge and resources to appropriate departments

– Analyze and review workflows for efficiency and process improvements

– Assist with evaluation of new products to integrate into existing workflows

– Maintain eDiscovery and other technical documentation


– BS/BA Degree

– 4 years of relevant experience

– Driven Technology enthusiast with ability to self learn about new technology topics

– Ability to work on a fast paced, dynamic team

– Position requires on-call availability

– Good sense of humor

Skills and Experience

– Experience with O365 and Google Business

– Proficiency with local and remote forensic collection tools and techniques

– Familiarity with iOS and Android collection and examination

– Working experience performing forensic analysis with tools such as Encase, FTK, Axiom, Cellebrite

– Working experience with Operating and File System

– Familiarity with handling encryption during forensic collections (FileVault, BitLocker, Credant, Veracrypt)

– Working experience with processing tools including Nuix

– Proficiency in review platforms including Relativity (RCA or similar Review platform certification is preferred)

– Knowledge of analytic steps including TAR & Threading

– Must be able to independently interface and work with internal and external Lawyers, IT teams, and other Investigative Services personnel

– Good verbal and written communication skills

– Corporate/Enterprise experience is preferred
