Director, Forensic Technology

As a Director in the Forensic Technology Services team, the candidate will be responsible for driving the process of data breach review and similar services for our clients and be responsible for developing and expanding client relationships.


– Bachelor’s degree, required
– Juris Doctorate, preferred

– 10 or more years of discovery and related project experience required, specifically with a focus on technical workflows, automation, and integration of technology, preferred
– Experience in project and/or client management for data breach review matters is required Experience in managing alternative workflows for a variety of problematic file types during the data breach review lifecycle, required
– A strong understanding in data normalization and field level data validation techniques, required
– A strong understand of the logic and technical processes to create a consolidated data subject list, required
– A strong business development acumen, required

– Proficient in RelativityOne and Brainspace, required
– Proficiency in H5, and a general understanding of machine language translation tools, preferred
– Proficiency in Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, preferred
– Proficiency in other eDiscovery and tangentially related platforms, preferred
– Experience with SQL or other database query language, preferred
– Experience with NoSQL and elasticsearch applications, preferred
– Experience with one-or-more search technologies such as dtSearch, PowerGREP, and similar, preferred
– Experience with basic forensic software such as EnCase and FTK, preferred

– Mandarin, Cantonese, French, German, and/or Hindi, preferred

– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
– Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
– Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details and quality
– Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
– Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
– Provide an encouraging team atmosphere on engagements and contribute to the professional development of the team
– Strong and effective people management skills are a necessary component of this role
