The Sales Engineer moves deftly between the business and technical aspects of e-discovery in a sales and customer service-driven environment. This position will be responsible for assisting Account Executives in following up on leads and closing deals with customers identified in an inbound account-based marketing strategy. This position includes analyzing lead information in the HubSpot CRM, attending virtual sales appointments, and performing virtual demonstrations. May require some project management (interfacing with Avansic’s Project Managers) on certain cases. This position requires the appropriate handling of highly sensitive and confidential materials and topics without disclosure. Position can be remote.

Primary Activities include, but are not limited to:

·        Act as a partner with Account Executives on relevant product, service & market knowledge

·        Create and deliver frequent web-based product demonstrations

·        Solicit RFPs and RFIs and assist with Avansic’s responses

·        Develop and communicate the pricing and service proposal for the client based on an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Avansic’s programs and capabilities 

·        Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills

·        Lead technical discussions with C-level executives, litigation support managers, law firm partners, technical and IT decision makers including detailing technical specifications, product workflow, deployment, and third party integrations

·        Help determine prospects’ current software environments and communicate Avansic’s capabilities and value within that environment

·        Solicit customer feedback on technical issues and report to Avansic’s management


·        Three to five years sales or customer service experience, e-discovery background preferred (specifically document review)

·        Strong technology background required

·        Demonstrated ability to conduct small and large group product demonstrations (with customization)

·        Knowledge of electronic discovery software and online review tools desired

·        Demonstrated success developing relationships in law firms and corporations

·        Experience in HubSpot or SalesForce preferred
