Litigation Support Manager – Patent Litigation
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Support Manager to join a highly regarded Patent Litigation team at a leading law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to support one of the largest and most highly ranked patent litigation practices in the UK, working closely with a dedicated team of partners, associates, and paralegals to deliver excellent service on high-profile cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive project management for the firm’s largest litigation cases, ensuring court timetables are set and deadlines are met.
- Act as the primary liaison with courts, counsel’s clerks, and manage the filing, listing, and document processes.
- Assist with costs budgeting and reporting, ensuring compliance with deadlines and client expectations.
- Oversee the management of disclosure, document management (including e-bundles), and trial bundles.
- Coordinate activities across the team, including trainees, paralegals, and associates.
- Contribute to the firm’s knowledge management by monitoring legislative changes, updating policies, and managing litigation know-how.
- Train and coach paralegals, trainees, and other team members on litigation processes and document management.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in litigation support, ideally within patent litigation.
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing large-scale litigation cases.
- Excellent organisational skills with a meticulous approach to deadlines and document management.
- Ability to work closely with a team while also managing independent responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior lawyers and external stakeholders.
